There is no greater responsibility than to expose students to ideas and concepts that will inform and challenge them. I would support public education as a member of the school board by ensuring that my votes are aligned to support the mission and vision of the district while acting as a represented voice of the community.

Public education is extremely important in order to raise happy and successful children and to have a thriving community - one where the children need to be given the tools to grow and engage in the changing technology landscape. I will ensure standards are fair while increasing parent involvement and building partnerships in the community.

I am devoted to making sure our district is the best choice for our children. I will do everything in my power to ensure our students and staff have the best tools to succeed.
The MTA recognizes the critical role each member of the Board of Education plays in a highly functioning school system. Those seeking election must do so with the understanding that this volunteer, unpaid position requires a lot of work and that they must find reward in that service alone. After our interview process, we have identified three candidates who would be an asset to our Board of Education and the Mokena 159 community. They exemplified the following key characteristics:
